Pelicans ar aquatic birds belonging to the Pelecanidae Family. There are only eight identified species of pelicans. The natural habitat of these abundant birds is in a warmer climate. Therefore, they ar found everywhere except in the Frigid Zones. Pelican subspecies are between 106 cm to 183 cm long, with the Australian variety leading the pack. These birds have webbed feet and can swim like ducks. They ar distinguished by their sizing and visible throat pouch. This pouch is used for scooping while preying on the animals.
